You are my light in darker days
The clarity chaos has wrought
Should I be lost in Luna's play
You are the light that I have sought
Should I be weighted down by iron chains
That hold a heart with tempered locks,
Be they your chains I would't struggle
But instead succumb to feeling touch
For I have wings but cannot fly
I love you now and always have
Though walls divide and depths do part
I've lost you thought twas not my will
Lost you to fate's cruel hand
Though you were never mine
